YTD Part 1
The YTD Part 1 summarizes all UCR part I crimes by month and year over year for both the current and prior years. Only founded cases are reported. Part1 offenses include criminal homicide, forcible rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, larceny-theft, motor vehicle theft, and arson. Burglaries include both commercial and residential burglaries. Not included are 'Other Assaults' (UCR Code 04e).

Note: Stats are updated monthly but are one month behind. For example, January stats are available mid to late February.

The Orange County Sheriff's Department and its contract cities experienced unintended under-reporting of Part I offenses for 2000, 2001 & 2002. Consequently, this also affected the number of citations reported on the Monthly Arrest and Citation Register for the same time period. Therefore, data collected during these years should not be used to make comparisons.
