Upcoming Test Dates for the position of Reserve Deputy Sheriff:

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department will be testing for Reserve Deputy on Saturday January 9, 2010, at 8am at the Tustin Training Facility located at 15991 Armstrong, Tustin, Ca.

To complete the testing process applicants must pass the written test, physical agility test and pre-background screening. An oral interview will be scheduled for the following week for those applicants who successfully complete the testing on Saturday.

Applicants should dress in comfortable clothes suitable for the obstacle course. Applicants should also bring with them their valid driver’s license for identification.

Re-Testing For Reserve Deputy Sheriff

Written Test:
can be retested in 90 days or 3 months.
Physical Agility:
wait 90 days or 3 months and must retest, beginning with the written test.
If the applicant gets ill or hurt while taking the physical agility test, they must wait until the next recruitment before taking the physical agility test again.
Oral Interview:
must wait 90 days or 3 months and must retest, beginning with the written test.
Psychological Test:
must wait 1 year before applying again, which means they will need to restart the entire process beginning with the written test.
Background Investigation:
must wait 1 year before applying again, which means they will need to restart the entire process beginning with the written test.
Medical Exam:
must wait 1 year before applying again, which means they will need to restart the entire process beginning with the written test.
